I initially thought adindi-associates were another national driving school which is why I didn’t bother with them at first. I was wrong. They support independent instructors just like me. I joined adindi.co.uk for one of their discounted fuelcards about a year ago. During a visit to their website a couple of months ago, I saw the adindi-associates link, so had a look to see what it was all about. Dismissed it straight away as I was already running my own school.

My car was due to be replaced, so thought I'd see what they could do on the vehicle. They went through their various packages and I actually found myself wanting to take one up, so here I am, an associate instructor on a 12 month contract [means I get a new car every 12 months if of course I renew the contract!] and to boot I’ve reduced my weekly outgoings! Good Job Done!

'adindi-associates.co.uk' what can I say! After being employed as a trainer for so long, I found I had all the support I needed to get my own business on the road after becoming self-employed. The support and encouragement from them was, and still is very much appreciated.

 

There are many services available to get your own show on the road. I never took up all of the offers available, but since starting my own business with them back in January 2009, I now have a very successful, professional business - What can you look forward too?

A must if you take an adindi-associates package. What a breath of fresh are this organisation is. Mark will discuss your needs and then sortout your diary for you so you can concentrate on instruction instead of trying to organise your diary as well. The way in which this is done maximises your time. Practical and Theory tests booked. Feedback from learners passed back to the instructor. Lost pupils reclaimed. This is all done for you in a really professional way by Mark and his team who are all really friendly as well. Good advice is also provided when needed and some useful weblinks passed on as well. What can I say - BRILLIANT!!!!!

Anyone thinking of 'going it alone' should speak to adindi-associates before doing anything else. For once we have an organisation that delivers exactly what is tells you they can deliver. No bull. Why would you choose any other path to start your own school is beyond me! I've only just started, but I'll certainly be renewing my contract in 9 months time!

What a friendly bunch of people adindi-associates are. From the first call after receiving one of their flyers, I immediately decided to go with them. Why take on the hassle of locating everything I need when Tina and her team do it for me! DUH no brainer there! I called about their £99 package and ended up taking a full pack on 12 months and the best bit, I recommended my mate and got £200 for the referral. Don't hesitate, do it!

SO! You think you can cut it alone?

For those of you who know me and the standards I set, i jumped at the chance of having a professional body help me maximise my potential earnings, my customer relationships and support and generally my overall picture of who I really am to my customers.

Like most ADIs, I felt I was doing well with my own business, had bookings through to the following month, could see the future potential on my diary etc. Then when customers started to ring to change lessons dates, times and tests etc. I didn't quite loose control, but it was a nightmare to try and contact the other customers to move their days and wait for them to ring me back etc, which in total could take anything up to a day to sort out!

Then came a few comments from customers; " your really busy, couldn't get hold of you today" "wasn't a convenient time to call you today, sorry" or "ring me when you have a minute"; I could hear the disappointment in their voices!

The final straw: again, I had a really busy day, was about to start a lesson and a phone call came in for a new lead on a learner. The short of this was I lost the learner because I was too busy and had to hurry the phone call.

I did feel unprofessional and was really not happy with the way the 'admin' side of the business was going, then came ADI Support!

I was sent a proforma about them and immediately clicked with the concept; I now have a fully fledged diary and it's maximised to its best potential; a back up contact point for all my learners/customers.

A great team at ADI Support that have the right technology in place for both them and me to access and update my diary whenver I need and most of all a professional courteous and trustworthy company that can help.
