Our aim is to supply you with a comprehensive modern training package at a competitive price with built in flexibility that will help you reach your goal.

Our course covers the essential elements required for those who wish to qualify and delivery Fleet Driver Training; these include:

  • Health & Safety with regard to the Approved Driving Instructor & Fleet Driver Training
  • Theory Presentation; Skills & Techniques
  • Theory Testing
  • Own Driving Standards
  • Fleet Driver Assessment & Testing Abilities
  • Report Writing

This course does not focus on out-dated exam style measurement, rather it uses more modern ongoing assessment techniques; you will know long before you fail an exam, what if any extra study you may need, making your experience more positive and less judgemental.

The Theory Element:

We will supply you with the DSA registration pack and the DSA study pack including the full Question Bank. We will also help you to design your own personal study plan. You will be able to assess your theortical knowlege and understanding by completing a number of online assessments.

The Analytical Element:

Driver behaviour and attitude are two key areas of driver training that need to be improved upon. You will fill out a confidential Personal Profile Analysis or PPA, and this will allow you to review your profile, and understand how you are likely to respond (your behaviour) to a given situation or set of circumstances. adindifleet uses PPAs as part of its Fleet Driver Training Programme, and consequently we are able to use this information to adjust our training methods and challenge the causes of the behaviour/attitude. You need to undergo the PPA to get a clear idea of where the industry is headed, and so that we can make your training as effective as possible.

The Driving Element:

Make no mistake you will have to demonstrate a high standard of advanced driving for an hour. This all sounds familiar, doesn’t it? If you had to take your Part 2 exam again tomorrow would you pass? And remember this is a drive to a more advanced standard. On this element you need to demonstrate the ability to drive for 1 hour with a maximum of 4 driving faults in differing road conditions and on different roads (that you may not be familiar with). You will be required to demonstrate “Eco Safe driving” throughout and a good standard of commentary driving.

The Coaching Element:

Coaching qualified and experienced drivers is a different task completely too teaching learners. Clearly some of the skill set required is directly transferable. However, it is the elements that differ that need reviewing. Your will learn how to assess, identify and prioritise key risk areas, and how to compile a risk profile and reduce risks by using the appropriate coaching methods. You will also learn (or develop your skills on) how to deliver a short presentation to individuals or small groups. You will also receive development training on clear simple effective report writing.

The Course:

You have in front of you a course which could significantly improve your earnings potential and add variety and challenge to your work, a course that has been designed to allow you as a working instructor to continue to work as well as study. The methods that have been chosen are calculated to enable you to get the maximum possible information from the course, with the minimum of upheaval to your diary. All of our sessions are practical in-car and can be delivered nationally [as a temporary measure we are covering Scotland from a central point].
